Country Inn & Cottages is privately owned by Jeff Mazurek and is located in the charming City of Fredericksburg, TX. We boost two separate properties to include an Inn just 1 mile from downtown Fredericksburg; and our Cottages located just 5 miles from downtown Fredericksburg and located on a 200 acre ranch.
Fredericksburg is known for is German Heritage and is rapidly becoming THE wine destination, second only to Napa Valley.

"This is a quaint little hotel. Easy to find, very friendly staff. Location is quiet and family friendly. The best part was upon arrival the room was ready for us with the air conditioner on thus entering a very cool room not the typical hot rooms. Beds were comfy."
CREDIT CARDS WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL YOU CHECK IN!!
You must provide a valid credit card at the time you make the reservation. We will make a “validation” transaction in the amount of $35 to verify the card. This authorization is NOT a charge and will drop off your card within 24-48-hours.
CANCELLATION POLICIES @ COTTAGES AT THE RANCH:
If you must cancel your Cottage reservation FOR ANY REASON, a $35.00 Cancellation Fee will be charged to the credit card on file. If you cancel WITH LESS THAN TEN (10) DAYS NOTICE, shorten your stay or check out early, you will be held responsible for the full value of the entire reservation ~~ Unless we can re-book the room, then only the $35 Cancellation Fee applies.
CANCELLATION POLICIES @ MOTEL IN TOWN:
There is NO FEE to cancel a MOTEL ROOM ~~ UNLESS you give us LESS THAN 48HRs NOTICE or shorten your stay or check out early, you will still be responsible for the full value of the entire reservation. If we can re-book the room we will refund the re-booked portion.
If you cancel (or shorten) any reservation within the penalty periods listed above, the staff at Country Inn & Cottages will make your room the priority and diligently work toward re-booking it as quickly as possible. If we are successful, we will refund you for the nights we are able to re-book - less the one-time $35 rebooking fee.
RE-BOOKING A WEDDING RESERVATION @ COTTAGES: If this was a reservation at the ranch for a wedding - your cancelled rooms can only be re-booked by a WEDDING GUEST. We will notify the wedding party but it would be in your best interests to do so as well. There are usually many other guests who are looking for the opportunity to stay at the ranch where the festivities are taking place.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:00am AT ALL PROPERTIES
LATE CHECK-IN - AFTER 9:00PM:
If it appears that you might arrive after 9PM; please call the main office as soon as you know your going to be late (830) 997-2185. Keys will be placed in your room and the door unlocked. You will need to come into the main office @ the MOTEL by NOON the next day to pay for your room. If you are not able to make it before noon (or your would prefer not to come in) - We can/will manually process your credit card on file. However, this will incur a 3% SECURITY FEE as imposed by the credit card company for manual transactions. Thank you for your understanding.
If you plan on splitting the cost of A SINGLE ROOM over different credit cards. There is a $5.00 transaction fee for each additional credit card payment provided for a single room.
Additional guests, over the age of 5 who exceed the basic room capacity of 2 people per bed (pull-outs not included) will incur an additional $25.00/person/night to cover the cost of additional resources (sewer, water, power, pull-out couches, linens, towels, $6 meal vouchers, etc.)
PULL-OUT COUCHES @ COTTAGES:
If you intend to use the pull-out couches available in SOME cottages because of sleeping arrangements ~ when additional guest rules (above) don’t apply ~ For example, children under 5 or teenagers sleeping separately, etc. There will be a 1x charge of $25.00 for the additional linens, labor and resources. It is CRITICAL that we know IN ADVANCE of your check in date. We DO NOT keep linens on these beds in order to ensure they are fresh for your arrival. We MUST inform the housekeepers in the morning on your check-in day.
MEAL VOUCHERS @ COTTAGES ONLY :
We DO NOT have a Continental Breakfast at the Ranch. Therefore, we provide each guest staying in the Cottages - one (1) $6.00 voucher per person/day. For this reason, it is important that you notify us of the total number of guests staying in each cottage so we can ensure you have the correct number of meal vouchers. Children ages 5 and under are free and accordingly will not receive meal vouchers. Children ages 6 years and older must be included in the room capacity in order to receive meal vouchers.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN ANY ROOM OR COTTAGE; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available. A minimum $100 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if you smoke in a non-smoking room.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES:
Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later date up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
PET POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:
SMALL PETS: Pets under 30# are $15.00/pet - one time fee.
LARGE PETS: Pets over 30# are $15.00/pet per night of your stay.
1) PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES when outside.
2) ALWAYS clean-up after your pet - even outside - there are small plastic bags available at the office.
- - - - > You will be assessed a "clean up" fee if we must "pick up" for you.
3) In case of an "accident" on rug or carpets ~ please saturate a towel with water and keep the area wet.
- - - - > Notify us immediately so we can have the stain removed before it sets.
4) NO PETS in POOL or SPA area
5) AGGRESSIVE DOGS OR EXCESSIVE BARKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and will require you to find alternative accommodations for the pet.
6) PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM: This allows housekeeping to enter your room. If your pet is not properly crated, your room WILL NOT be serviced. This also prevents damages from separation anxiety.
7) DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN OR ON THE BEDS OR FURNITURE ~~ if that's an impossible request, please bring something to protect the bedding and surfaces from pet hair and damage (or ask for a sheet to use as a protective covering). If pet hair, urination or feces is found in or on the bedding, rugs, furniture etc., you will be assessed charges for professional cleaning or replacement of the damaged items. For example, replacement of a bedding set can cost up to $800 in some units.
